Pyohex Shampoo is for the treatment of bacterial (staphylococcal) skin infections in dogs.

This topical medicated shampoo contains chlorohexidine gluconate as the active constituent. It helps to remove dirt, scaly skin and grease whilst killing cutaneous micro-organisms that often cause dermatitis. You only require 1ml of shampoo for every kilogram of your dog's weight, making this product long-lasting.

Directions:

1. The shampoo should be applied to a wet coat and lathered up. Leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
2. Distract the dog from licking during this period. Ingestion of foam can upset their stomach.
3. After rinsing allow the dog to shake excess water from its coat and then rub the conditioner through the coat whilst still damp.
4. This can be achieved by applying a small amount to your hands, lightly rubbing your hands together and then dabbing your hands over your dog's coat.
5. After the conditioner is roughly distributed give your dog a good rub to evenly distribute it throughout the coat.

Warnings:

Avoid contact with the eyes and wetting inside the ears.
