Marshmallow may be soothing for coughs, sore throats and respiratory infection or inflammation. May assist with indigestion and diarrhoea. Anti-inflammatory, may soothe urinary tract upsets. May be useful for babies if cooled tea is gently rubbed onto the gums for teething and pain relief. Marshmallow has no relationship to the confectionery of the same name.
